Is the hotel open 24/7?

Yes, all properties are open 24hrs daily.

What types of payment are accepted at the hotels?

All major credit cards are accepted as well as cash payment.

What is the pet policy?

We regret to inform you that no pets are allowed in any of our properties.

Is there a doctor at the hotel?

A doctor is on call and can be arranged to visit any of the properties at a charge.

Do you offer parking facilities?

Unfortunately, none of our properties have a parking area however free public parking is usually available in the surrounding streets.

Are there any electrical adaptors in the room?

Each room has two international plugs.

Is smoking allowed in the room?

All our properties are non-smoking, and smoking is only permitted in outside areas.

Is there a safe in the room?

All rooms have a safe which can be used free of charge.

Do the rooms have Tea and coffee making facilities?

Yes, all rooms have tea and coffee making facilities which are replenished free of charge. A complimentary bottle of water is also provided in all rooms daily.

Will I have a hairdryer in the room?

All rooms are provided with a hairdryer.

Are linen and towels provided?

All rooms are provided with linen and towels. Rooms are cleaned daily between 09:00 until 17:00 and sanitised prior to arrival. Towels are changed daily, and linen is changed every three days.

Do you have internet in your properties?

Wi-Fi is offered free of charge in all rooms and public areas in all our properties.

Do you offer Group rates?

Yes, kindly contact our sales team on [email protected] to get a special group quote for any of our properties.

Is the reception desk open 24/7?

Yes, the Front Desk is open 24/7 and you may call or visit at any time. To contact Reception from your room kindly dial 1000. If it is an outside call kindly contact +356 2016 5 100.

What is your check-in/check-out time?

Check-in time is from 14:00 onward at 115 The Strand Hotel whilst check-out time is any time until 11:00am. For early check in or late check out, please contact Reception for availability and possible charge.

Does the hotel have a luggage room?

Yes, we do provide luggage storage free of charge.

Where is the closest bank/ATM located?

115 The Strand Hotel has an ATM just outside and the closest branch is approximately 5 minutes away.

How far is the nearest clinic?

The Gzira Health Centre is less than 5 minutes on foot.

How far is the Malta International Airport?

The hotel is approximately 10km away from the Airport. Kindly contact our reservations department on [email protected] to book your airport transfer.

How can I come to the hotel by Public Transport?

You may catch a direct bus from the Airport – Gzira (bus no X2). The closest stop to the hotel is called ‘Ponsonby’.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served at 115 The Strand from 07:00 until 11:00. Kindly note that due to Covid restrictions breakfast is now A La Carte.

Where can I have dinner?

Our restaurant, Grana, is open daily for dinner from 18:30 until 22:30 and all our guests get 10% off the menu.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?

We do have wheelchair accessible rooms. Kindly contact our reservations team on [email protected] should one need to be booked accordingly.

Do you have ironing facilities?

Yes, you may request this at reception, and one will be delivered to your room.

Does my room have a balcony?

If you have booked an Executive Room or a Sea View Room, you will have a balcony.

Does my room have a Sea View?

The only rooms that have a view of the harbour are the Standard Room with Sea View and the Family Suite with Sea View.

What is included in my Executive Room?

Besides the room facilities all guests who have booked an Executive Room have breakfast served in Seasons – our Executive Lounge on the 9th Floor.

What facilities are offered at 115 The Strand?

Ice machines can be found on the 3rd and 6th floor of the hotel.

115 The Strand has a Wellness Centre on the 8th Floor open from 09:00 until 20:00 daily and can be used free of charge by all guests. The Wellness Centre has a small indoor pool as well as a sauna and steam room (currently not available due to Covid Restrictions).

We also have a Roof Terrace with a tanning area and jacuzzi on the 10th Floor open from 09:00 until 20:00 daily.

Urban Rooms

What can be found in the Deluxe Room?

All deluxe rooms have a Nespresso machine, an ironing board and iron and complimentary toiletries.

What facilities are offered at Urban Rooms?

Urban Rooms has a shared kitchen on the 6th floor along with a roof terrace for tanning and a jacuzzi. This is open daily from 09:00 until 20:00 and can be used free of charge by all guests of the property.

You may also make use of the facilities offered at 115 The Strand.

Strand Suites

What facilities are offered at Strand Suites?

All apartments are equipped with a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, a washing machine and an ironing board and iron.

Yes, we do provide luggage storage free of charge.

The closest branch is on the main street just a few minutes away on foot.

Can I come to the hotel by Public Transport?

You may catch a direct bus from the Airport – Valletta (bus no X4). The closest stop to the hotel is called ‘Valletta 18’ which stops you outside the city gate. The Cumberland is approximately 8 minutes away on foot.

A La Carte Breakfast is served at our restaurant from 07:00 until 12:00.

Do you have ironing facilities?

An ironing board and iron can be found in your room.

What are the room facilities?

All rooms come with a stocked mini bar, Nespresso machine and bathrobes and slippers.

What facilities does the property offer?

The Cumberland has beautiful roof terrace with a Jacuzzi that is open daily from 09:00 until 20:00.
